After a wonderful and productive six years in my location at 201 S. Camac, I am moving and starting a new chapter in a storefront on Fabric Row in Philadelphia. From now through December 15th, I am having an art sale. An incomplete selection of some of the older work included is in this facebook album since it didn’t fit in with the rest of my newer website. Some of them have never been seen by anyone else, and I’d rather they go to good homes than sulk in sad boxes (which I have to carry and store in my new space).

“A good place to think about important things,” 2012. Each painting is 36″ x 24″ and $900. Contemporary pricing on work that size is $2950.

“Flood 2,” 2012 oil and wax on panel, 11″ x 14″, $450

“Casting,” 2018 Collaged film and digital photos, 8 3/4 x 11 1/8 inches, $250 during sale.

photo collage, analog collage
2018 Collaged film and digital photos, sealed with acrylic medium, overpainted with oil paint. (There is extra mat board for ease of matting and framing, but it isn’t part of the composition.) $120

I’ve also been making lots of new collages, but not posting all of them on this website.  The ones not posted on here are temporarily on sale.  After December 15th, collage pricing will increase.

If there is something you’re interested in that is not included in the facebook album, that does not mean it isn’t on sale, so you should contact me.

Colorful Abstract Landscape, Oil on panel, 14″ x 11″ $500
abstract painting of brick wall, art sale
Fishtown Brick 1, 2011. acrylic, oil, wax, and crushed brick on panel, 14 x 11 inches, $500

All Fishtown paintings are between $400 and $1000, depending on size and level of detail. I might not make any more of them, since the airborne particulates from crushing and dispersing bricks is not good for my health.

watercolor painting of lake at sunset, art sale
Sunset Reeds, 2018. 8 x 4 inches, watercolor on paper, $200

I have a lot of watercolor still life and plein air studies that I can also share for those interested.

I can do simple framing for small works on paper, and I ship.

Contact me for more information.

oil painting of retro televisions, art sale
Feral TVs, 2011. Oil on panel, 14 x 11 inches, $200

My new space is on the ground floor, so it will be more visible and accessible to a wider audience.  I will continue teaching private lessons, and plan to expand my curatorial practice in the upcoming year.  I hope that you will come visit me when I’m open for business at 820 S. 4th Street.

Happy Holidays!
